European made thermal imaging sensors
Axion Compact Series is ideal for scanning and game finding. Quality European made sensors ensure excellent image in all conditions.
- 640×480/12 micron sensor provides reliable detection range for spotting heat signatures in most field scenarios.
- 384×288/17 micron sensor ensures clear and consistent images even in low-contrast or poor weather conditions.
Pocket-sized dimensions and light weight
Axion monoculars have a space-saving and pocket-sized design and weights less than 300 grams, which makes them the best thermal imaging monoculars for those who look for a truly compact option, both in hunting and tourism. The device is easy to grip and operate by right-handed and left-handed people due to the symmetrical arrangement of buttons on the upper panel.
Wide field of view for easy scanning
Axion Compact monoculars have wide field of view which simplifies scanning and searching for hot objects. Wide field of view allows the observer to quickly spot all hot objects and focus on the most interesting ones, while simultaneously keeping all scene in view.
Photo and video recording
The Built-in video recorder is a great asset when it comes to filming or taking photos of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. One press of the REC button captures footage that can be shared easily with colleagues, friends and family. Internal memory of the unit ensures many hours of recorded video and tons of photos.
Rugged magnesium alloy housing
Axion is designed for constant, often hard use. A magnesium alloy housing is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, metal housing effectively removes the heat from electronics, minimizes image noise and increases consistency of the device operation during long-term observation.
Sensitivity amplification levels
3 amplification levels combined with new filtration algorithms and fine brightness and contrast adjustments, increase the hunter’s chances for early detection of the animals under heavy weather and high humidity conditions. These settings provide optimized rendering of the target and background objects in the observation scene.
Multiple color palettes
A choice of multiple color palettes lets the user observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night.
Axion XQ19 Compact also comes with an additional Green color palette which reduces eye fatigue significantly and makes long-term observation more comfortable and efficient.
Stream Vision 2 app support for iOS and Android
The built-in Wi-Fi module connects the device with either Android or iOS smartphones using the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This combination opens up a wide range of options: wireless device software updates, real-time image transmission to the mobile device screen, remote control digital functions and much more. Users registered in the application are provided with cloud storage space for photos and videos taken with the device.
